CeOS Founding Member of the ITD Alliance

The newly founded ITD Alliance is committed to inter- and transdisciplinary research in response to global societal needs. The network comprises institutions and individuals from all over the world, from different cultures and from different scientific disciplines. Central to the network is the exchange of experiences and the joint reflection on methods. With its membership, CeOS can serve as a multiplier and provide impulses for the other members of Kiel Marine Science (KMS).

Other founding members are e.g. the Espacio Interdisciplinario – Universidad de la República Uruguay (UDELAR), the Institut für Sozialökologische Forschung (ISOE), the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) Japan, the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) and the USYS TdLab, ETH Zürich.
