What is the Humboldt Current and why is it so important?

The Humboldt Tipping project, led by CeOS, is part of this year’s Waterkant Exhibition and presents an interactive display of the Humboldt Tipping Virtual Exhibition (VirtEx). Visitors will gain a comprehensive overview of one of the most productive marine ecosystems in the world and its global significance.

The opening takes place on June 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Waterkant Festival Grounds. The exhibition will then be open from June to September, every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM.
