Vita

Hanna Thordsen is a Ph.D. student at the chair of “Political Economy of Resource Management with a Focus on Marine and Coastal Resources” since April 2020. Her work at the Center for Ocean and Society relates to the project Humboldt Tipping. She completed the master program ‘Environmental and Resource Economics’ at Kiel University with a thesis focusing on the economic impact of ocean stressors. Before coming to Kiel, she studied Economics at the University of Hamburg. She also gained applied experience in political economy in the context of climate change adaptation in Latin America.
