Vita

Lena Hindenberg completed her Master’s degree in Biology at Kiel University in 2023. Her thesis focused on the impact of underwater noise from offshore wind farms on planktonic crustaceans.

During her studies, she worked as a research assistant in the first phase of the BMFTR project "Humboldt Tipping", gaining her first experience in science communication. From early 2024 to the end of 2025, she continued working on the same project as a research associate, specializing in science communication.

Since 2026, Lena has been part of the "Marine and Coastal Geohazards" working groups at CeOS and the Institute of Geosciences within the DFG Priority Program DEFORM, where she is responsible for media transfer. Additionally, she is active in the "Marine and Coastal Resource Economy" working group as part of the SpaceParti project.
