Vita
Magdalena Beer has been working as a research assistant at the Center for Ocean and Society since April 2024. Since October 2023, she has been studying for a Master's degree in Food and Consumer Economics at Kiel University (CAU).
As part of her Bachelor's degree in Food Management at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, she worked intensively on sustainable practices in the production, manufacture and marketing of food. She gained practical experience in marketing and advising agricultural producers on quality and origin programs. It was there that she discovered her passion for communicating with stakeholders in the value chain.
