Vanessa Steinweg, M.Sc.
Vita
Vanessa Steinweg joined the Center for Ocean and Society as a research associate in January 2022. She works in the SpaCeParti project, which focuses on the development of scientific and policy action knowledge for the fisheries of the Western Baltic Sea.
Previously, she completed her B.Sc. in "Ökotrophologie", as well as her M.Sc. in "Agricultural Sciences-Field of Environmental Sciences" at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. In the winter semester of 2019/2020, Vanessa studied as an Erasmus student for one semester at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. She wrote her master thesis in the balt_ADAPT project, where she conducted a vulnerability analysis of the western Baltic fisheries.
Her interests lie mainly in the interface between fisheries, environment and society.
